I don’t know how hot it would get after a hour or more but it has been fine using these programs for months. I thought it might be getting too hot so I downloaded psensor to check the temps, I haven’t had a chance to check it on Skype yet but I tried it on Youtube with Kazam running and the highest temp I saw was 72c and the laptop was still running fine but that was only about 15 minutes. Then on Monday we were using Skype and Kazam, it worked for an hour or maybe a little more then froze and I had to restart, then another hour and froze again. It worked again for about an hour then froze again and another restart, the last time it worked for less than 5 minutes before it froze but this time it came out of it after a few minutes. Friday we were on Google hang outs and it worked for around an hour, I wasn’t really watching the time, then everything froze and I had to restart. I've been using this laptop just like this for about 8 months with zero problems.Īs of last Friday it started freezing while trying to video chat and using Kazam at the same time, about 1 hour in. I have a Thinkpad T530 with a Intel i5 3320M, 4 gigs of ram running Mint 17.2.
